COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL):

Is the minimum required to be employed as a pilot . to hold a commercial license , you need to be 18 years of age and posses a category 1 . please see licenses and ratings for more information.

DUAL FLYING 35Hrs
SOLO FLYING(PIC) 100Hrs
GROUND BRIFEING 15Hrs

NIGHT RATING:

A night endorse added on to a private pilot license allows the holder to fly during the hours of darkness in visual meteorological conditions under visual flight rules. The minimum training time is approximately 15 hours. There is no flight test or written examination.

INSTRUMENT RATING (IR) :

An instrument rating allows the pilot to take off and land without having visual reference to the ground except for a short duration before take-off or landing : in short , to fly into and then navigate through clouds . All navigation is performed by reference to required instruments in the aircraft.

Prerequisites: (PPL)

  •  Be at least 17 years of age at the completion of course;
  •  Be the holder of a category 1 or 3 medical certificates after a medical examination by Canadian Aviation Medical Examiner.
